The Pilates Space Great Barrington
Sharon's Happy Place is her cozy, rural Pilates studio on her property near the Alford/Great Barrington town line--a tranquil and perfect setting for one-on-one workouts.
It's a little small for group workouts though!
In the summer of 2019 Sharon started offering group classes at The Pilates Space in downtown Great Barrington, a spacious and lovely studio owned by colleagues she likes and admires.
With Covid-19 the Saturday Mat class has become a Zoom class that you sign up for through MindBody Online/The Pilates Space Great Barrington.
Now The Pilates Space has reopened with Covid-19 protocols in place.
If you want Sharon to lead you in a workout on Pilates apparatus with a spouse or friend (Duet), or a small group of family or friends, this is the place to go!
Pilates with Props at Simon's Rock

This class will resume when the gym reopens for group classes.
Pilates with Props is a beginner to intermediate-level mat class using big and small exercise balls, Pilates Magic Circles, flex bands and yoga blocks to give feedback from the limbs (including head/neck) to the core muscles and core to limbs. The result? A feeling of wholeness and feeling connected. For beginners, it's a great way to discover "the Pilates body," long and strong and graceful! For more experienced Pilates practitioners, it's another "take" on familiar Pilates mat exercises. Give it a try!

An excellent workout with a Pelvic Floor focus. Gently warm up and tune into these all-important muscles, then do familiar Pilates, yoga, and fitness exercises using the pFilates technique. Helps with incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain. Experience the freedom and confidence that comes with pelvic floor muscle awareness and control!
